Corine Jacquet

Me Corine Jacquet holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Université de Montréal. During her studies, she was actively involved in academia by sitting on several committees, including the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers and Lawyers and the Corporation des Étudiants Finissants en Droit de l’Université de Montréal.

She began her career at Belton Avocats in 2018 as a law student, articled under the supervision of Me Belton in 2020 and became a lawyer the same year. She specializes in criminal law and youth law. It therefore helps people accused of a criminal offence, and families involved in an intervention by the Direction de la protection de la jeunesse (DYP). His work leads him mainly to work with people who are going through difficult times. She empathizes with these people, and enjoys vigorously defending her clients. Mr. Jacquet regularly pleads before municipal courts, the Court of Québec, the Superior Court and has already pleaded before the highest court in Quebec, the Court of Appeal.

Mr. Jacquet also sits on the Board of Directors of the Centre Toussaint en Action as Secretary.
