Limartine Angrand

Me Limartine Angrand holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Université de Montréal and is currently a candidate for a Master’s degree in Health Law and Policy at Université Sherbrooke as she is interested in issues related to medical liability.

During her academic career, she was the president of the Association des étudiant.e.s noir.e.s en droit de l’Université de Montréal and also a judge of the Debates Committee. She co-founded the Clinique Juridique de Saint-Michel in 2019 with Me Fernando Belton and sits on the organization’s Board of Directors as treasurer.

She has also been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2021 and practices mainly in immigration law, family law and civil law, particularly civil cases involving racial profiling. In immigration law, his practice also focuses on the issue of asylum seekers. She also regularly pleads in civil matters before the Superior Court, the Court of Quebec and appeared in immigration matters before the Refugee Protection Division, the Immigration Division, the Refugee Appeal Division, the Immigration Appeal Division and the Federal Court.

She worked for eight years in a community organization. Thus, issues concerning access to justice are close to his heart. In her spare time, Me Angrand enjoys culinary exploration of other cultures.
