Me Corine Jacquet

Me Corine Jacquet., holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Montreal (2019) and completed her professional training at the École du Barreau du Québec in 2020. During her studies, she participated in the Gale Cup Moot Court Competition, where she argued a case before a panel of judges in Toronto, and won first place in the Business and Management Law Committee (CDAG) case competition. She also served as president of the UdeM chapter of the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers and as vice president of the University of Montreal’s Law School Graduating Students’ Association.

Me. Jacquet began her practice at Belton Avocats in 2020, where she represented clients in criminal and youth protection cases before municipal courts, the Court of Québec, the Superior Court, and the Court of Appeal of Québec. From 2024 to 2026, she continued her practice at the law firm Cain Lamarre, where she represented the Director of Youth Protection in the Nunavik region. Building on this experience, she rejoined the team at Belton Avocats in 2026.

In addition to her private practice, Ms. Jacquet serves as a project manager at the Saint-Michel Legal Clinic, where she leads a project providing legal assistance to vulnerable families in matters related to child welfare. Active in her community, she has served on the boards of directors of the Centre Toussaint en Action and the Saint-Michel Legal Clinic. She offers her services in French, English, and Creole.
